Click here to see what some former students say

Hypnotherapy and self-hypnosis make it possible for you to help people stop smoking, lose weight, build confidence, reduce stress, deal with anxiety, enhance sporting performance... even overcome phobias and panic attacks.

The College of Integrated Therapies distance learning Diploma in Professional Hypnotherapy training course is designed to pass the maximum amount of knowledge to our students. Graduates of the course will be fully equipped to establish themselves as professional hypnotherapists and set up in private practice.

"Hypnotism is the most practical science of the
age. It confers advantages that cannot be
conveyed through any other medium."
William Wesley Cook M.D.

"Our remedies oft in ourselves do lie...
which we ascribe to heaven."

Shakespeare

Of course some students may wish to enrol on the course to study for other reasons, such as gaining a greater understanding of themselves or out of personal interest. The potential rewards for self-development are enormous. At CIT we believe in being open with our students and so we do not involve ourselves in the kind of overblown language and claims you may see elsewhere.

The authors have experienced what is like to be new to the field and seeking a training course. We found a number of trainers promising that we would be earning unrealistic sums of money as soon as we graduated from their courses. We found others who claimed to teach to a professional standard from only a few, low-priced lessons. We didn't take those courses. Instead, we took the kind of course that we are now offering to you - one with plenty of material not often covered in other distance learning programmes, information about the very latest scientific research, with experienced tutors and flexible learning. We believe our course represents excellent value for money and offers flexible learning. A tall order to offer all this? Maybe, but we believe that we have achieved it.

There are many therapists who make a full time living from their skills. Generally, however it has taken them some time to achieve this. They have, like you, taken a training course, gained experience, built up their reputations and taken time to develop their practice.

We promise to do our absolute best to teach you effective and innovative hypnotherapy based on both our experience and modern research into what makes for effective hypnotherapy. Your tutors are only ever an email or phone call away if you require assistance, and as a registered student with the GHR (a feature of this course) you may also use that organisation as a resource.

The course authors are both experienced therapists and hold a number of professional awards between them.

What some of our graduates say!!!

"The course authors set high standards in their expectations from the assignments which could only be gained through fully participating in their provided reading material together with additional extensive recommended reading and through this a thorough understanding of the main principles of hypnotherapy was attained.  The support was first class, far quicker than I ever expected and always with helpful comments, enthusiasm and the highest of standards of expertise..."

C C, Hampshire

"I am so pleased to have gained my Diploma in Professional Hypnotherapy with the College of Integrated Therapies. The coursework is comprehensive and clear; the teaching methods are straightforward and well thought out and therefore totally easy to understand. As a pupil, I knew what was expected of me, and was able to match my response to what was required. Any questions I had were answered promptly by my Tutor who was supportive throughout and I was delighted to find that this continued beyond my completion of the course, and extended to questions I had regarding the setting up of my professional consultancy. I really recommend this course..."
