I've asked you to stop sending me spam several times but you still keep doing it, why?
Simple, we don't spam, ever! The emails you are receiving may appear to come from us but they do not. Spammers have been forging our domain email address - this is illegal but there does not seem to be much we can do about it. We have taken what action we can but until some form of enforcement action is taken against these people by the authorities the problem will continue. Many web site operators have the same problem. What you can do is never, ever, buy anything from a spammer. If you do you are part of the problem. We operate a no tolerance for spam policy. Most spam that you receive will be sent using fake or forged return addresses. Generally, as in our case, the apparent sender is entirely innocent of any wrong doing.

What level of support for your courses do you provide?
Each course has its own personal tutor(s) who will answer any questions a student may have. These can be sent in by email or by snail mail. Emailing questions means you can send them at your convenience rather than waiting for your next tutor contact as you would if you were attending classes. All our tutors respond to questions from students as quickly as possible.

How long does it take to complete a course?
We provide up to three years tuition with each course. Other than that there is no pressure to meet deadlines as each students pace of work will be determined by their existing personal commitments. If a student has an urgent requirement for a qualification, let us know and we can arrange for your personal tutor to help you through the course as quickly as possible.

What happens if I fail the final exam?
All of our courses employ ongoing assessment, there is no final exam! At the end of each module of a course there will be a set of questions or assignments which should be completed satisfactorily before moving on to the next part of the course. Using our system of ongoing assessment we are able to identify any potential problems and deal with them early. Students will also know exactly how they are performing on the course of their choice and know that they will not have any unpleasant surprises in store. Part of our obligation to you is to help you to earn a qualification - we employ ongoing assessment because we believe that it is the most effective and fairest method for adult education courses of the type that we offer.
Note: Graduation from the Soap Making Course is dependent on submitting a hand made bar of soap that meets with the approval of the course tutor. By the time students have reached the final part of the soap making course this will be well within their capabilities.

Do you accept credit cards over the phone?
All of our credit card transactions are carried out using PayPal on-line - it is safe, fast, convenient and free to users. You can also enrol by sending us your contact details and a cheque to cover the cost of the course that you are interested in.

Why don't you have any printed brochures?
Simply because it would mean increasing prices
somewhere else to pay for them! Brochure printing can be very
expensive, and most of them end up in a landfill somewhere. In
line with our policy of recycling and being as environmentally low
impact as possible we use the minimum amount of printed matter that we can. All of the information about our courses is available on this site. If you do find that you have any additional questions then simply email us.
We can provide basic course sheets for anyone who does not have email or
may be sight impaired.

I don't have a PayPal account, how else can I enrol?
You no longer have to have or open a PayPal account to pay using PayPal. If you do wish to open a PayPal account, this is free to customers. In addition to PayPal payment can also be made by cheque, international money order or postal order (must be payable through a UK bank). Your course dispatch date is dependent on cleared funds. See our contact us page for mailing address.

Why can't you send me
information about your graduates?
As a training organisation we
are often asked for information about our graduates for the
purposes of references and where professional bodies are
confirming details of training for professional development
purposes (CPD). In all cases before we can respond or
enter into any correspondence or release any information we
require the permission of the person about whom the data is
requested in order to do so. In cases where this
permission is not forthcoming we regret, that due to the rules
imposed on us by Data Protection legislation, we are unable to
assist.
