Tooth paste

Imagine buying products, using for your health but not knowing what’s inside this. Creepy idea right? But still it happens to anyone a dozen times a day. From food, to the air you breath in. It is crazy actually.

That’s why we created our first blogpost in our section: Health tip. In here we want to show you that you can make things on your own which is not only cheaper but also much  more healthier for your body and mind.

Let’s start with the natural toothpaste.

  • Simple Ingredients
  • 2/3 cup baking soda
  • 1 tsp fine sea salt
  • 1 – 2 tsp peppermint extract or 10-15 drops peppermint essential oil
  • filtered water (add to desired consistency)

 

Important notice is that each batch is enough for around 5.0oz, similar to a tube of toothpaste. You can easily store this somewhere but keep it dark and cool of course.

 

Before brushing, make your brush wet and spread the paste onto it.
To produce this mixture, mix everythingn together and add a little water everytime. Stir it firmly into both directions until it feel like a consitent paste.

Cardio

Do you know why this is highly important? Because it is to get the right flow in your blood stream. You can have some cardio in the gym, but much better is to find an outside area where you can run has hard and long as you want. It’s free and it better for your nerves system and longs. Inside you have to deal with many other bacteria’s and of course artificial AC to keep it cool.

 

Outside is the place be. We started 4 years ago after having a huge depression. My husband lost someone close to him and it had a greater effect on him than he could have imagined.

 

We were getting into our health habits and started to jog outside. Already within a couple of weeks we saw a positive progress into our lives. We never stopped our running ever since and even on holidays we go run to explore a new country on a point of view, it’s amazing.
So, get out there and go run. Buy some good shoes and start running!

Clear mind

Having a clear mind is great for your health. In my case when I became an expat was choosing my international health insurance. There were so many out there, so many great providers which made my head bottled up.

To get this all cleared and out of the way is great for when you want to live a stressfree live. But it’s important to know that stress can be a very good thing. It makes you do things you never thought you would for whatever reason possible.

Compare this feeling to the action of a cat. When you counter a cat into a narrow area the cat can jump very funny, right?

Eat healthy

Just as our first blog post we take things without knowing what are in them. This also include many forms of medicine. But more importantly our food. We don’t know where it truly comes from. How many times do you don’t see on the news another news item about having some weird meat or something else put in our food. Another day, another scandal.

 

That’s why we support our local food supplier. They are indeed more expensive, but they are closer to the source and are risking more (because it will get personal) if they lie to us where the food comes from, how it is made, and what is used to keep it fresh.
It is actually also amazing. Eating this kind of food makes you aware of the life around us. The helping hand, is again good for the mind. Thinking about these things makes you truly a better person.
