About CIT & Its Tutors

The College of Integrated Therapies (CIT) is a trading name of Michael O'Sullivan, and CIT like many similar training providers in the UK operates in the private sector.

Initially this site was set up to promote courses written by Michael, an established and highly experienced stress manager.  Recently a number of other course writers have also launched their own courses under the CIT banner.  CIT's role in these cases is strictly that of agent. CIT will promote, deal with administration, collect fees and issue qualifying diplomas and certificates on behalf of external tutors.

External tutors are independent and neither CIT or Michael O'Sullivan are liable in any way for the actions or non-actions of trainers.  You are responsible for ensuring that a particular course meets your requirements before enrolling. Although CIT takes reasonable care to ensure that the quality of courses offered are suitable, CIT accepts no responsibility.  Copyright remains with the course author at all times.  CIT is based in England and operates under English law...

Ebooks

There are now available the first two of a series of e-books on various health related issues.  Full details of new titles will be published on this site as soon as they become available. Our first publications are:

>> The truth about the threat from bird flu

>> The definitive guide to a career in hypnotherapy

Our Delivery & Returns Policy

(Your statutory rights not affected)

How are orders handled?

The majority of orders via this site are for electronic downloads - once an order has been placed you should be taken automatically to your download page.  In the event of any problems just email us and we will send you a download link ASAP.  This option helps us to keep costs as low as possible as it gives you the choice of printing off your own copy of the course manual or reading it on screen.

For orders that we need to send you, such as the soap making course:  We are required by UK law to deliver any products ordered for delivery to the UK within 28 working days.  This does not include weekends or bank holidays. In many cases we deliver courses within the UK within days of the order being placed.  Occasionally we do take longer but as a general rule the longest that we have taken to deliver a course within the UK has been 3 weeks.  This is still well within the statutory guidelines.

In the unlikely event that you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, please refer to the returns guidelines set out below:

You wish to cancel your order?

So ensure you receive your orders quickly, we process orders as soon as possible after receiving cleared funds. Company or Personal Cheques can take between 3-7 working days before funds are considered cleared. For this reason, you are able to cancel an order immediately after placing it. Simply email us with details...  If you are paying by PayPal your refund will be minus any handling charges already incurred by us if applicable.

Returning an order that has already been delivered?

In the event that you have already received an order that you wish to return you have 7 days to advise us.

We consider it reasonable that if you wish to exercise this right you MUST NOT damage or mark any goods, training materials or text books.  Marked and/or damaged items cannot be resold!  You are also responsible for the safe keeping of the goods. Please specify the reason for returning any product(s).  We require this information to provide you with a Returns Authorization (RA) code.

Shipping cost e.g. Post & Packaging is a service and will have been completed.  Therefore, postage costs to return goods must be paid by you and will not be refunded. We will only refund the cost of the goods that are returned. For security we suggest that you return them using recorded delivery, we will not be held responsible for goods lost in the post.  If, once you have received your goods you wish to return them, we suggest contacting us by email, this is the quickest and easiest method of communication.

Once you receive your RA code, please note this on your invoice (sent with items) and send both the product(s) and invoice back to us.

Please note that you are responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us. You have a further 7 days, from the receipt of the RA code, in which to complete the return or you will be deemed to have accepted the order.

Returning an incorrectly filled order or a faulty product?

In the unlikely event that you receive a faulty product or the incorrect goods, please email us straightaway and we will sort it out ASAP.

All products returned will be examined before a refund is issued or replacement shipped.

Notice for students engaged in training

Therapy related courses: We do not recommend practising with friends, family or clients until you have graduated from the course, joined a professional body and obtained professional indemnity insurance.  Ensure that you always work within your own levels of competence.

Soap making course:  We recommend strongly that when you begin selling your products to the public that you do so strictly within the laws of your country of residence.  In the UK this means that as a minimum, your products should be safety tested and certified by a cosmetic chemist.
